Community Terms
Last updated: July 25, 2026
1. What SafeSpace is
NYVRA SafeSpace is a private, invitation-only WhatsApp circle for women living with thyroid conditions. Some caregivers supporting a loved one may also be welcomed. Sending a note on this website does not guarantee membership. We may decline an application without a long explanation so the room stays soft and safe.
2. Not medical advice
Conversations here are peer support and lived experience. They are not diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, or a substitute for a qualified clinician. If you are in crisis or need urgent medical help, contact local emergency services or your doctor.
3. Eligibility
You should be 18 or older to apply. Please share honest details about yourself. Fake identities, spam, or applications meant to disrupt the circle may be refused or removed.
4. How invitations work
A person on the SafeSpace team reads membership notes. If it feels like a fit, we send a personal WhatsApp invite. There is no public join link. An invite can be withdrawn if needed for safety or moderation.
5. Conduct inside the circle
- Be kind, private, and respectful
- Do not share another member's story outside the group
- Do not spam, solicit, or sell products in the circle
- Do not push unverified treatments as medical certainty
- Do not harass or shame anyone for their choices
6. Removal
Moderators may remove people who break these terms, share private details without consent, or put the safety of the circle at risk.
7. Your information
How we handle application data is described in the Privacy Policy. By sending a membership note, you agree to these Community Terms and that Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the community grows. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued participation after an update means you accept the revised terms.
