Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026

1. Who this covers

This Privacy Policy explains how NYVRA SafeSpace (https://space.nyvra.com) handles information when you visit the site or ask to join our private WhatsApp circle for women living with thyroid conditions. Caregivers supporting someone with a thyroid condition may also apply.

2. What we collect

When you send a membership note, we collect the details you choose to share, including:

  • Full name, city, age range, and WhatsApp number
  • Thyroid condition and diagnosis status
  • Optional notes such as how you found us or a social handle
  • Your free-text note about why you want to join
  • Confirmation that you accept the Community Terms and this Privacy Policy

For spam protection we also store a hashed version of your IP address and a short browser user-agent string. We do not store a raw IP address in the application record.

3. How we use it

  • To review whether SafeSpace is a fit for you
  • To contact you on WhatsApp if we send a personal invite
  • To reduce spam, bots, and repeated abusive submissions
  • To keep basic records needed for community moderation

We do not use application answers for advertising, credit scoring, or automated medical decisions.

4. Where it is stored and who helps us run the site

Application records are stored in a Neon Postgres database used by Nyvra for SafeSpace. The website is hosted on Vercel. Those providers process data only to host and operate the service.

If we invite you into WhatsApp, Meta Platforms (WhatsApp) becomes the messaging channel for that invitation and any later community chat. WhatsApp has its own privacy terms once you join that conversation.

5. Sharing

Application notes are reviewed by the SafeSpace team. We do not sell your information. We may share limited details with trusted operators only as needed to review invites, keep the circle safe, or comply with law.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep application records while they are useful for invitation review, moderation, and safety. You can ask us to delete your application by emailing contact@nyvra.life. We may retain minimal records if needed for abuse prevention or legal reasons.

7. Cookies and analytics

The site may use essential cookies or similar technology required for hosting, security, or basic operation. We do not run advertising trackers on the SafeSpace application flow.

8. Children

SafeSpace is intended for adults. Age options on the form begin at 18. If you believe a minor submitted information, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Your choices

You can choose not to apply. If you already applied, email us to ask what we hold about your note or to request deletion. Related rules for community conduct live in our Community Terms.
